Churchyard works at St James’, Christleton, Chester

A 41 metre squared church extension, around https://what3words.com/slick.dozen.soak, is planned for the North West corner of the church.

The required works will disturb graves within the churchyard of St James within this area. Appropriate legal permission for these works is being sought and the advice of the Environmental Health Officer has been taken.

Any family members of graves within the footprint of the extension available at www.stjameschristleton.org.uk, or persons who are concerned by the prospect of works being carried out in St James’ churchyard generally are asked to please contact: The Diocesan Registry, Church House, 5500 Daresbury Park, Daresbury, Warrington WW4 4GE or by email to the
