Green bin collections finished until late February 2022

Nov 23, 2021 -- Posted by : jonathan

Please note there will be NO further green garden bin collections until late February 2022. The green bins have now been removed.

If you do bring flowers PLEASE dispose of any GREEN waste either by taking it home with you OR use the compost heap at the back of the church over by the cremated remains. There will be signs to direct you.

We also wish to remind visitors to please dispose of their PLASTIC flower wrapping waste responsibly EITHER by taking any home with you or place it in the BLACK landfill waste bins.

Please be mindful of the church's environment. Plastic can easily end up in the digestive systems of the local birdlife, and when combined with leaves is a slip hazard to the infirm in wet or icey weather. The payback teams and working party groups work hard to look after the Churchyard and Christleton has won awards for "best kept village" in the past and we would like to keep it this way!

PLEASE ACT RESPONSIBLY with your waste! Thankyou
